Dr. Dave Patel, D.M.D., M.D.S

Dr. Dave Patel is originally from South Florida. He went to the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He moved to Boston, MA and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in Providence, RI, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. His time there solidified his decision to pursue endodontics. His specialty training in endodontics was done at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) where he graduated with a Certificate of Endodontics and a Master of Dental Science degree. After completion of his endodontic residency, he moved to Minnesota and practiced there for several years before moving to Texas.

During his endodontic residency, Dr. Patel received multiple awards, including the American Association of Endodontists/DENTSPLY Resident Award for his research project as well as the John T. McSpadden Spirit of Service Award given annually to the endodontic resident who provided exemplary patient care. Dr. Patel fosters an honest, friendly, and compassionate environment while providing quality endodontic care and strives to make the experience as comfortable as possible for his patients.

He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, watching the Florida Gators, spending time outdoors, and trying new restaurants.
