Dr. Bill Greer is a native Texan who grew up in the Houston Area. After graduating from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, he began active duty with the United States Army. During that time, he completed a One-Year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. After completing his residency training, he was assigned to the 3rd Forward Support Battalion, Third Infantry Division in Schweinfurt, Germany.
While assigned with the 3rd FSB, he earned his Expert Field Medical Badge. He was subsequently selected to compete in the Army-wide EFMB Challenge, a strenuous 72-hour competition to determine the top medic in the Army, winning in 1995. After his tour in Germany, he was selected for training as an Endodontist at Ft. Gordon, Georgia and finished his military obligations at Fort Hood. After 8 years of active duty, Dr. Greer returned to Texas and has been practicing here for over 20 years.
Dr. Greer is married and has six children. Each child is a souvenir of a specific Duty station during his time in the Army. When not treating patients, Dr. Greer enjoys hiking, the beach, and classic rock and roll with his wife, Jackie.
